I am a Research Associate in Human-Robot Interaction and Human-Machine Smart Interfaces at Waseda University, Tokyo.
I have been in Japan for 10 years now, and it really is the place where I fit. I fit in the daily orderly mess, in the 24h continuous flow of life, in the incredible variety of people that you can meet on an ordinary day. This variety gave me insight on how many things we take for granted in our daily interactions, things that a machine cannot know and have to observe and learn day by day, things that we also should carefully consider before taking our decisions.
I am a technician, but living in Japan gave me a new perspective on human behavior and the incredible beauty behind infinite points of view.
